Project CARES!
Approximately 11% of children between the ages of 4-17 have ADHD in the US, in 10 people have dyslexia, and it is estmated that 5-20% of people have Dysgraphia.
Dysgraphia- a condition that makes it hard to write. A person with this specific learning disability may have problems including illegible handwriting, inconsistent spacing, poor spatial planning on paper, poor spelling, and difficulty composing writing as well as thinking and writing at the same time.
Project Cares was created to bring more awareness across globe to kids and parents about these special needs and help, care, and give solutions to these children. Early identification of these special needs help kids to cope better and be successful and become part of the normal society.
Project Cares also aims to work to remove any social stigma which is there in some parts of the world against kids with these special needs. Through this project we would like to work with school districts and social groups to bring awareness sessions and possible outreach to people with needs.
